RUNA × SHADOW×AGENT

A sleek robot operative: a closed black suit, clean lines and relaxed hands. The suit stays quiet, so RUNA’s pale robot face, robotic hands and neon-yellow hair tips carry the character.

RUNA / LUNA 1.5 by torinyan, a robot girl. As sold, her look is the robot body itself: pale armour panels and dark joints, with no separate outfit, so here the clothes set the look. We kept her own hair with its blue-black to neon-yellow gradient, both antennae and the fringe that covers one eye by design.

SHADOW×AGENT 1.0.0 by EDEN Oasis. Worn: the short double-breasted coat with silver star studs, the white shirt, the black tie with its clip, the harness, a belt and a diagonal waist belt with a pouch, trousers, boots, the ID card and a coiled earpiece.

Left out: the skirt, because trousers keep the silhouette sleek; the fedora, which cut through her hair and the base of her antennae; the glasses, which crowded her one visible eye; the briefcase, to keep the lines clean and the hands relaxed; and the inner layers, which a closed suit doesn’t need.

Black is the seller’s preset colourway; we didn’t recolour anything. Dark fabric and silver fittings sit well with RUNA’s blue-black hair and pale face, and leave her neon-yellow hair tips as the one strong colour. The white shirt adds contrast at the centre.

The render background is dark teal with a faint magenta glow. A thin rim of cool cyan light along the coat, trousers and boots keeps the black suit from sinking into the dark background. We switched off the soft halo around bright areas to keep the yellow tips crisp.

We refitted the suit to RUNA’s skeleton. The waistline moved down about 4 cm and the shoulder line up about 4 cm, the torso was stretched to match, and the hips were widened by about 7 % and the shoulders by about 11 %. Arms and legs were matched bone by bone.

Her body showed through the suit in places. Pushing the clothes outwards crumpled small coat parts and bent the boot tongues, so we kept the suit’s original shapes and removed the parts of her body hidden under it. We also trimmed the shirt sleeves hidden under the coat. Her head, neck, robotic hands and all 172 facial expression shape keys (built-in sliders that reshape the face) were kept; for the renders we only adjusted the mouth sliders to give her a calm, faint smile. The trouser cuffs sit over the boot shafts, and both soles rest on the floor.
